Welcome to retirement!
There is a world after working in public schools!
By being a part of TSTA-Retired/NEA-Retired, you continue to support your
professional organizations and join a group of retirees that are working to
safeguard the Texas Teacher Retirement System. Our annuities and health
insurance need to be increased and improved. TSTA-Retired/NEA-Retired are
working at the national level to repeal the Social Security Windfall/Offset
Provisions that relate directly to our retirement benefits. We work with
TSTA/NEA. What is good for us should be good for our active members still in
the everyday school routine. We are advocates for the students, public
education and our active members. We are working to protect and improve the
welfare of our retired members.
TSTA-Retired is the only Texas retired
educational organization that is affiliated with NEA. We are the fastest
growing group in the 3.2 million family of NEA members. Membership gives you
the opportunity to participate, vote, and hold office when you retire.
Continuing membership keeps you informed on retired and public educational
issues through TSTA/NEA and TSTA-Retired/NEA-Retired publications. TSTA/NEA
Member Benefits including liability insurance, long-term care insurance and
Medicare supplement insurance and credit programs will continue to be there
for you.
You need to continue to be a part of the TSTA/NEA
team and join TSTA-Retired/NEA-Retired.
Sincerely,

Letha Grace McCoy
