Welcome to TSTA-SP!
Dear Members,
Let me be the first to say WELCOME!
I am extremely honored to be your elected State President for the 2008-2009 school year, and would like to welcome everyone back from what I hope was a fantastic and restful summer break! The executive committee and I have already been working through the summer to better the student program and provide you with an outstanding convention this year. We have begun to put in place more funding for our locals and districts, and some great materials for you to use for recruitment and organizing in your chapters.
I'm so excited that you have taken the first step in advancing your career as a teacher to all it can be! It is my hope that you walk away from the student program, and join the professional level with confidence in yourself, in your knowledge of your profession, and in your knowledge of your association.
I am truly looking forward to this year and what it has in store for us all! If I can be of any assistance or help to any of you, please look me up on the website and give me a call or shoot me an email! I'm available anytime and I hope I will have the answer or tool you are looking for! And remember, we are all "Inspiring the stars of tomorrow."
