TSTA-Aspiring Educators state convention

The 2018 TSTA-AE conference was March 2-4 at the Omni Austin Southpark hotel. Tara Bordeaux, the 2018 Texas Teacher of the Year and TSTA member, made the keynote speech at a banquet Saturday night. Program delegates also elected new officers, who will assume office July 15, and changed their program name from TSTA-Student Programs to TSTA-Aspiring Educators, effective immediately.

TSTA-SP District 3 convention

TSTA-SP held their district 3 convention in Houston on November 18. Around 150 student members learned various techniques to celebrate diversity in their classrooms, as well as other professional development.

TSTA-Student Program State Convention

The 2017 TSTA-SP Convention was March 3-5 at the Omni Austin Southpark Hotel. Texas Teacher of the Year Allison Ashley, a TSTA member, was the keynote speaker at the banquet Saturday. See photos here
